Sims 3 No Mosaic Patch 1.22
Posted By admin On 24.10.19@Sensanaty: And this only happens if this mod is in? It could be that they changed the resource between 1.54 and 1.55. You could try creating your own No Mosaic specifically for your patch level with the No Effects Mod maker tool:allows you to remove other effects as well. It could also be that your issues (specifically the speech bubble one) are unrelated to the mod. I believe I've seen this/heard about it in cases where this mod wasn't used, so it could be a general bug. OK, after so many different troubles with package files not functioning I uninstalled ALL the games including the base game, I have been reading your tutorials step by step at this point I have 3 package files in there right now the no intro, the no sparkles and the no intro maxis.
Besides, I much prefer the No Mosaic over the Decensor because the No Mosaic completely blocks the mosaic. With the Decensor, you see the.
I have updated to the 1.01 version and I would like to add the no mosaic in next. What I am wondering is when I begin installing each expac stuff pac will I have to change the version of this mod as well?I also have questions about other specific mods(script core?) and when I should place them in and in what order, but for now this one is the most irritating. If I can get this one working, then I will come back for the others as to when and how I add them in and in what orderThanx in advance! @Opalisis: I'm assuming the no intro one works, i.e. You don't have the long intro video when you start the game? If so, then adding the no mosaic for your correct patch level (right now 1.57) should work.
And yes, since EA adds new effects to expansion packs (and sometimes even in patches), you should check if a new version for a patch is necessary. If you won't update your mod, e.g. Remaining at the No Mosaic for 1.57 after installing Into The Future, all new effects in the game will be missing, because the modded resource overrides the one in the game and the 1.57 version of No Mosaic doesn't include the ITF effects.
I hope this makes sense. @Opalisis: Modders can name packages/sims3packs themselves, so if you don't keep track of what a file means, you'll have to look into the package/sims3pack to see what it was. I'm not sure what the easiest way would be to do that. You could try CC Magic (There's also CUSTARD (for Sims3Packs. You'll still need to make sure that they work with your patch level, though, before using them in your game, or you'll likely run into problems again.
(This is less of a problem with cars, hairs, and makeup, but important for script mods and resource overrides like the No Mosaic.) You could also try the Help forum on this site to find someone to assist you. They have a few suggestions to try first. I noticed this particular one for locating problem mods/CC: luck! I have had trouble with getting this to work for a while now. I deleted the old one as well as all the cache and installed into the future. Tried to get the no mosaic for into the future and it still does not work.
What am i doing wrong? It is in the doc/ea/sims3/mods/packages folder like it is supposed to. I am confused plz help because it used to work back when i first got outdoor living yes i know that was a long time ago but i have been using your things for a while then they stopped working on island paradise and now that i have into the Future still nothing. I have had trouble with getting this to work for a while now.

Is there a way to make this work for the sims 3 installed through Origin? There seems to be no mod folder even when i applied the mod framework showing up.I know i must be doing something wrong but i did follow the wiki guide. Sadly though it doesn't have a guide for Origin/Windows 8.Any help would be appreciated. This Mosaic is a huge turnoff for me. I'm running the 1.63 update with the latest expansion being Pets.EDIT: Never mind.
Got it working. It seems i had to manually make the folder 'Mods' inside the My Documents/Electronic Arts/TheSims3 root directory and extract the framework in that directory and it went automatically from there. Wish they would stick to one way of handling files:cry. It works fine. I don't know if it's because of this mod, but when my sim buys pregnancy books (guess it's the same with all kinds of books), they don't show up in her 'backpack' or what it's called in English (I'm Swedish).
They're there if you choose to sell books in the bookstore though.:O Maybe it's just a random bugg that doesn't have anything to do with this mod, but maybe someone has a solution? The content in the backpack also started to flicker and I couldn't scroll down or anything. I've been unable to get any of your velocity no mosaic patches to work.
I'm running version 1.66 now on OS X Mavericks and I'm wondering if your file is incompatible with Mac. EA has finally got it together with the Mac. Since I updated to Mavericks and reinstalled my game - I experience no crashes or glitches. I did install the game on my Bootcamp with Windows 7 and to no avail, the patch still did not work. I'm running the Base Game, Ambitions, Generations, Pets, World Adventures, Late Night, Showtime, 70's,80's & 90's Stuff, High End Loft Stuff, and Into The Future.
Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.Update. 2/2/14I figured out what I was doing wrong. It's working now as well as XCAS and several other Mods running OS X. My Sims are free now! Thanks for making this but I'm having some problems. I was hoping for some help. I'm not very computer savvy so I don't really know how to mod and could really use some detailed help.
I have Ambitions, Generations, High-End Loft, Seasons, Into the Future, University, Late Night, Pets, Supernatural, Town Life, & World Adventures. I'm not sure which file I need to download and then what I need to do to it. After I download it do I need to open it?
No Cd Patch Sims 1
Since it seems to be a package file I don't know what program opens those so if you could point me to one that would be nice. I also know I need to put it in one of my Sims folders but don't know in which one. Any help would be really appreciated. Any help would be really appreciated.open it in winrar then extract it to/ drag it into the folder: my documents/electronic arts/the sims 3/mods/packages.This is assuming you have a mod folder if not go to games4theworld they have a tutorial on how to go about getting one.hope i helped:). This is a great mod thanks:). However I feel I should let you know that when searching for more mods recently I came across a link on my search that claimed to be a website for the sims3 mods however when you click the link it downloads a programme of sorts that seems to alter the code for the no mosaic mod and renders it otherwise useless. Unfortunately there is no for me to name this link as it seemed to vanish after it downloaded the programme:/. I know this all sounds a bit far fetch but I feel the need to stress it is true, especially now that I am realizing that the only way for me to undo this is to rest my entire computer and re-install all of my sims games losing all progress and my buildings that took me hours if not days to complete.
I just thought that I should give all users of this mod and velocitygrass a fair warning that someone out there has been shitty enough to ruin this mod on whim.
