Darood Sharif (English and Arabic): Durood Sharif Arabic. اَللّٰھُمَّ صَلِّ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰٓی اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ کَمَا صَلَّیْتَ عَلٰٓی اِبْرَاھِیْمَ وَعَلٰٓی اٰلِ اِبْرَاھِیْمَ اِنَّکَ حَمِیْدٌ مَّجِیْدٌ اَللّٰھُمَّ بَارِکْ عَلٰی مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلٰٓی اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ کَمَا بَارَکْتَ عَلٰٓی اِبْرَاھِیْمَ وَعَلٰٓی اٰلِ اِبْرَاھِیْمَ اِنَّکَ حَمِیْدٌ مَّجِیْدٌTranslationO Allah, let Your Blessings come upon Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and the family of Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family. Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as you have blessed Ibrahim and his family.

Truly, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious.TransliterationAllahumma SalliI Ala Muhammadiw Wa Ala Aali Muhammadin Kamaa Sal’laita Ala Ibrahima Wa Ala Aali Ibrahima Inna’ka Hamidum Majid. Allahumma Baarik Ala Muhammadiw Wa Ala Aali Muhammadin Kamaa Baarakta Ala Ibrahima Wa Ala Aali Ibrahima Inna’ka Hamidum Majid.As the entire world population is benefited through the Holy Prophet (SAW) that is why Allah Almighty, says in Holy Quran:“Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels ask Him to do so. O you who have believed, ask Allah to confer blessing upon him and ask Allah to grant him peace.” (Quran, 33: 56) Importance of Darood According to Hadith:said:“On the day of Judgment the person closest to me will be the one who has sent the most Durood into me.” (Tirmidhi).On Friday, send Durood abundantly to me, as it is presented before me.” (Abu Dawud)It is also the way of fulfilling one’s religious duty of adoring Muhammad (SAW) as Anas (RA) has narrated in Sahih Bukhari: “None of you will have faith till he loves me more than his father, his children, and all mankind.” (Bukhari).
