A few weeks later, I lost the key to the tractor and purchased replacements with no issues.A few weeks after this, the PTO belt broke off and got shredded. No real great videos on the Troy Bilt site to replace this specific belt with this specific model or on youtube either. I ordered the 954/754-0497 belt directly from troy-bilt.

The belt was too long for the tractor and measured at 60 and 3/8 inches. This was the part number found on the tractor, manual and website. Found a forum somewhere, where someone mentioned a similar issue and actual size is 59 inches. Purchased this size belt (1/2 inch by 59 inch V-belt) at a local hardware store and fits. I will be returning the belt purchased from troy-bilt.Gave 3 stars because of belt issue and this is my first riding lawn mower.
